Riad…

I have a thing for the Marrakech living, not that I at all practice the look full on in my work or in my own home, but I like to mix the foreign mystery with the modern northern lifestyle. I believe it gives some warmth to the interior spaces and a more personal and individual look to any indoor or outdoor living area. Anyway the fascination of the Riad is endless. I have found some goodies from around the world that I would love to visit. What do you think…

Sweets for my sweet………………

Helloooooo, I want to live in this lolly land! This boutique is amazingly well done and really speaks to my sweet tooth. When entering a wonderland like this I want to stay forever and just indulge in pastry and cakes. I love it and do not even care to think about weight issues here!

The boutique Cioccolato is a pastry boutique specialized in custom deserts for special events and is situated in Monterrey, Mexico. Just saying the word Cioccolato makes my mouth water. The design team behind this playful and mindblowing project is SAVVY Studio who is a multi-disciplinary studio dedicated to develop brand experiences that generate emotional links between clients and their audience. I believe they have indeed succeeded on this project……….Yummy

Purity………….

2013 is a fantastic number! I can feel the new energy, the batteries have been recharged, motivation is back on track and ready for kick off!!! Today I am preparing for a fantastic project that includes outdoor design and wanted to share these fab pictures with my readers who are so lucky that spring is on and summer is something just around the corner. I came around the fantastic three: Guard Tillman Pollock Achitects. The 3 started in 2002 and  specialize in the development of elegant, functional and modernist design. I love the outdoor meets indoor, the clean look of their mind set and they have inspired me many times………Hope to inspire you on your garden preparation in the minimalistic way

Don´t throw stones when living in……………

In Hollywood Hills, California this over the top (off course) fantastic house has the best view ever! Focus here was definitely being able to enjoy the magical nature and the overview of the city. The brilliant architects from  XTEN Architecture created this amazing space where glass was the primary wall enclosure material. A total of 44 floor to ceiling sliding glass panels can disappear into hidden pockets or slide beyond the building……………….Just imagine the absolutely luxury feel there is in this house and the fact that you never have to feel locked inside! So cool and well done……..

Just the name Sitting in a Tree is lovely. This company which is situated in Southern California does wedding events among others but I just love their setup and creativity that I had to share this with you……Check them out and get inspired for your next party, picnic, dinner, wedding, birthday etc………Or book them

Dream home in Sweden…….

Offcourse this beautiful home is all over the blogs already….. I was not going to put it out here (for personal reasons) but since I see it everywhere I will give you the back story and the real credits for these fab photographs. This was a previous rectory of 420 sqm that was bought in 2006 by my dear friends. The place was in really and I mean really bad shape when they bought it, but they had a very clear vision of their future dream home. After a couple of months the house was standing RAW only the outer walls were left, with no windows, doors nor floors or ceilings. Now the fun part could begin, shaping and sculpturing the coolest house ever. Only the finest materials were to be used and every detail and function of the house was looked after. They designed a beautiful home for their family and off course the very talented danish photographer Heidi Lerkenfeldt was to take the interior photos to perpetuate this. The garden is filled with really old trees, apple, cherry and pear trees, the most fantastic magnolia trees, hazelnut and walnut trees and flowers only one can dream of. This is a garden that really is a treasure all year around.

Well I really love this house and today it is for sale with the real estate agent http://www.erikolsson.se………..so if you are house hunting this is it!!!!!

The danish treehouse……..

150 trees were harvested in the surrounding forrest, they were cut into raw beams and let to dry for 3 years before this cool house could start taking form. The happy owner is the architect himself Jesper Brask who is one of the duo in the architect firm  Brask & Leonhardt. The “treehouse” is the holiday home for himself and family and is situated in North Zealand in Denmark……………I really like the rawness feel in this house, the simple living feel and absolutely the feeling that here we only do what we want and when we want to do it……Only one thing is certain here, get the fireplace going and RELAX

Is it raining?

It´s a fact, monday morning hit me and the weather forecast is NOT looking to good. It is wet, cold and dark. So, the coffee is on, my couch has a good grip on me and cyber world here I come.

I found this house in Mexico where it also rains and it is dark but it doesn´t matter cause the uplifting house, the large spaces, the minimal interior design and the huge window frames makes one forget what happens on the outside…….so let it rain, let it snow let it hail who cares……..have a fab day everyone
