Am I a camper?

Until I saw what a camping site also can be at this absolutely gorgeous designed camping place  near San Fransisco, not ten wild horses could drag me to a camping site. Yes I am perhaps a bit of a luxury girl when it comes to accommodation, facilities in bath and toilet etc when on a holiday, but I love being in the nature, having a camp fire and having a barbeque, just not living in it. Until now! I would absolute love to go and experience this fantastic site and believe I could actually enjoy the life of a camper. Autocamp.com is the name and is situated north of San Fransisco. The complex includes 24 luxury Airstream trailers, 10 fully equipped luxury tents, and a communal lounge pavilion that takes its design cues from mid-century modern architecture. Dan Weber architects designed the lounge pavillion while Lauren Geremia is responsible for all interior design. I totally love it and must go, what do you think…

Holiday away..

I was trying to plan a family trip and was searching the web for “places to go”. I came across this fantastic apartment in Mallorca and absolutely fell in love! It is rustic, genuine, authentic and just has the right vibe. Anyway, as I was scrolling through the lovely photos it became totally obvious that this home belongs to one of my favorite interior design brands Tine K and her husband… WHAT! And now here is the opportunity to rent their apartment, what´s not to like. Even the pricing for a week is to overcome for a family of 5….flight tickets cheap with Norwegian Airlines so offcourse this is where my next vacay is going. Have a look and hopefully you will enjoy it as much as I did.

Riad…

I have a thing for the Marrakech living, not that I at all practice the look full on in my work or in my own home, but I like to mix the foreign mystery with the modern northern lifestyle. I believe it gives some warmth to the interior spaces and a more personal and individual look to any indoor or outdoor living area. Anyway the fascination of the Riad is endless. I have found some goodies from around the world that I would love to visit. What do you think…

Co-lab…

Ikea has done it again! They just came out with a new collection “Svartan” which is a co-lab with the Swedish designer Martin Bergström. He is inspired by the indian culture, which is really colorful yet faded, and decided to make a collection only in black, white and grey colors. I love it and the fact that it is so cool and affordable for anyone is even better.

Lately I have been working in the kids world and offcourse I want to share these nice images to help you get some cool inspiration for the kids room. Spring is just around the corner and this means release from all the design companies with their new spring/summer 2013 collections. Sweets for my sweet………………

Helloooooo, I want to live in this lolly land! This boutique is amazingly well done and really speaks to my sweet tooth. When entering a wonderland like this I want to stay forever and just indulge in pastry and cakes. I love it and do not even care to think about weight issues here!

The boutique Cioccolato is a pastry boutique specialized in custom deserts for special events and is situated in Monterrey, Mexico. Just saying the word Cioccolato makes my mouth water. The design team behind this playful and mindblowing project is SAVVY Studio who is a multi-disciplinary studio dedicated to develop brand experiences that generate emotional links between clients and their audience. I believe they have indeed succeeded on this project……….Yummy

To the man who has it all………………..

Today I was enriched with three totally new (to me) web stores that just hit my mood of shopping today. All 3 shops have great items for the home but actually most important they have really really cool gift ideas for the man you never know what to get, either cause he has it all or because he never can give you a straight answer what he wishes for x-mas, birthdays etc. Well I got inspired and just want to say: “from me to you………….”

Decor spirit…………..

Yes I did it! I have startet getting ready for the big night……….Christmas eve. Little things but huge steps……………

 

I really enjoy putting out the little things here and there and actually think this will (almost) be it this year, well except for the tree which will come inside on the morning of the 24th, always have and always will.

White christmas……….

Hopefully we will have a white Christmas here………..the snow is hitting us hard these days and chaos on the roads is a fact, but nevertheless it is fantastic, if we again, are so fortunate to celebrate the big day dressed all in white. The whiteness of this holiday just makes it more original. I found some white decor for the tree that I will decorate mine with this year. The first items are from a British-Japanese designer Reiki Kaneko who makes beautiful china. Her collections are often produced by combining 3D modeling programmes with centuries-old expertise from makers in Stoke-on-Trent, England. I love her work and you should check it out at her website if you are looking for newies, but I specifically fell hard for her Christmas decor that has a bit of humor, naivety and fun to it.

Another supplier that I personally like and often end up shopping stuff from is the Housedoctor company. They offer a wide range for your home including furniture, their prices are absolutely affordable and they follow the main trends and always up to date…………

X-mas and co……………

More stuff for you guys if, you like me, get overwhelmed and have a tendency to go overboard in december decor. The company Walther & co launched their december catalogue and I love these photos which inspire me and can be helpful to keep the fine line…………..Happy decorating
